  Having shot in theatres many times, I wonder what type of camera and film on which this was taken. In recent tymes, I require a high ISO film and would still have trouble getting this amount of depth of field. Maybe those aren't stage lights we see but a big flash?

  It was a wonderful theatre. Such a shame this building was demolished. Like most of the Lynn Street and Whitby Street areas, it has been torn down. The heart has been ripped out of Hartlepool. Those who make these decisions should be ashamed of themselves. Nowadays the Empire would have been Grade I listed.
