For all you Railway and Transport enthusiasts out there we are proposing to make a wee change that might appeal to you next week from Tuesday for the week. Instead of posting just one shot with a search for info on location etc, we will post two! One will be the traditional shot and the second will be one with a train, engine or railway location. We hope that this will be of interest to those who like something different and that we can learn what people like and have an interest in. It also gives us a chance to share the wonderful O'Dea collection with the Commons!

John Anderson's spirit merchant (pub) was registered as 10 West Richmond Street. Interesting to note that there was also a John Anderson listed at 1,3 and 5 West Richmond Street - possibly the pub opposite - the Southsider today.
