On the right edge lower side the tenement on the corner of Bristo Place and Teviot Place can be seen. The line of Lothian Street is now a roadway. See the link for a 1960s view from where the photograph was taken. In 1911 the Richmond Bar was registered as number 10 West Richmond Street to John Anderson. A John Anderson also was registered at number 1, 3 and 5 west Richmond Street whch I think was opposite this view - the 'Southsider' Bar today.
