In 1911 the Richmond Bar was registered as number 10 West Richmond Street to John Anderson. A John Anderson also was registered at number 1, 3 and 5 west Richmond Street whch I think was opposite this view - the 'Southsider' Bar today.

On the right edge lower side the tenement on the corner of Bristo Place and Teviot Place can be seen. The line of Lothian Street is now a roadway. See the link for a 1960s view from where the photograph was taken.
