According to NYTimes obit (see link below), Adolph Lessig "gained nationwide publicity during the silk strike of 1913 when he led the strike as the business agent of the International Workers of the World." I checked the 1910 Paterson census and there was an Albert McBrier who was an undertaker and some Kitays who owned a clothing store in Paterson, so it's definitely the Paterson Strike.
