    Thanks. The photo does seem to connect up with a picture of the funeral published in The Herald (New Orleans, La), for Feb. 22, 1917 (see: chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn88064020/1917-02-22/ed-...). We'll add information to the description.

    The one above is the casket going into the Capitol. I think the Herald photo is from after the service, when the casket has been returned to its conveyance. Probably taken after this one, which shows the admirals coming down the steps:
