Gosto muito de fotos antigas em preto e branco;causam maior impacto! Esta é muito interessante. Onde terá sido batida?

We'd like to echo PeteZab's comment - if anyone can place this location (obviously somewhere between Jarrow in Newcastle, and London) that would be great!

This view is across George St at Hay St, looking East from outside what is now a Westpac bank. Light rail runs across here now (along Hay St).

the tall building behind the cnr bank was the 7storey AMICO HOUSE built 1890.It was the 3rd of 4 bldgs built by Horderns. It housed all the ironmongery departments. A further 3 storeys was added after Horden sold the premises & it was finally demolished in 1973. The site remains undeveloped.
