[http://www.flickr.com/photos/51979177@N02] beachcomber australia Hi all, our vessel expert has just said: 'Rawhiti II was a much smaller boat, a 6 metre class yacht about 30 feet long'. And it also seems that photographs of Rawhiti II are more scarce than the first one. Thank you for all those links quasymody, an article on the Alberts and Rawhiti is coming soon so keep your eyes peeled :) Also beachcomber, the official New Zealand way of saying it, which is where the vessel was built, is with an 'F' sound and the 'H' being silent, like 'Rafti'. The Aussies always called it 'Raw-Hiti', with other similar variations. Confusing, I'm barely getting the hang of it myself. ;)
