The motor cruiser Gar II Jr, of Detroit, racing against passenger train time from Miami, Fla., to New York, completed the last leg of her voyage here today. Her actual running time for 1260 miles was announced by her commander, Gar Wood, as 47 hours and 23 minutes. The running time of the Havana special over the Atlantic Coast line, which the Gar tried to better, was 43 hours for 1480 miles. The Wild Flower was owned by Lord Muskerry of Springfield Castle, Drumcolliher. Co.Limerick from 1883 until latest 1910.

According to his peerage entry, Hamilton Matthew Tilson FitzMaurice Deane-Morgan, 4th Baron Muskerry had 5 kids, but only one daughter, Flora, born in 1882. Given her apparent age, it's probably the mid 1880s.
