    c1890.. as designed by John Rennie and his son Sir John in 1831.. In 1905 the pavements were corbelled out on either side so as to give more width to the road.. Old London Bridge.. which had houses on it.. was further downstream to the right.. The tower of Wren's church of St. Magnus the Martyr was at its entrance.. This tower has now been obscured by the 1924 Adelaide House.. On the left of the bridge is the 1831-34 Fishmongers' Hall
