From Wikipedia: The Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway (MMA) is a 745-mile (1,199 km) regional railway operating in the states of Maine, Vermont and in the Canadian provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick, providing a direct rail link between northern Maine, Saint John, New Brunswick and Montreal, Quebec. However, the MMA has recently announced plans to abandon its northern Maine lines, and an effort has begun to have the State of Maine purchase the lines and improve them, to ensure continued rail service.

It seems the Moorgumpin-meaning 'place of sandhills' is spelled differently. According to the research, it is more likely to be Mulgumpin (Moreton Island).

Bulwer is a small holiday and fishing village, surrounded by National Park on the N.W. coast of Moreton Island. Great use of tree branches to help secure the tent. The cut pole fence suggests a more permanent stay perhaps.

Exchange Hotel, SW cnr Pitt/Bridge Sts...the incarnation of the Exchange Hotel that we see in this pic was condemned in January 1890...it was subsequently demolished and replaced by a new hotel with an ornamental tower and cupola...I haven't managed to establish dates for the demolition and construction of the new hotel...just going on a Licensing Court application, the new hotel appears to have been built (and running) by ca.
