In the catalogue, I see this buke published 2001 titled One hundred years of Piltown co-operative and its branches, which also suggests a 1900ish start date.

‘Great oaks from little acorns grow’ Just one of the many creameries that eventually formed Glanbia. Piltown was the only place in Ireland to see a battle fought in the War of the Roses. In the Battle of Piltown (1462) Thomas FitzGerald, 7th Earl of Desmond, on the side of the House of York, defeated the Butlers of Kilkenny, remember them from last week?, fighting for the House of Lancaster, resulting in more than 400 casualties for the Butlers. Local folklore claims that the battle was so violent that the local river ran red with blood, hence the names Pill River and Piltown (Baile an Phuill - Town of the blood) - Wikipedia

Suck Diesel So DD and wife Kathleen are the older couple. That census record says 6 children, all living, could be the whole family here?
