By 1952, a Matthew L. Nugent was living at 34 St. Andrews Terrace. He was fined 2s 6d for driving without a valid licence. It had expired 11 days previously. (New Ross Standard 28/3/1952).
That's 2 years trimmed off the end date (unless he was a lodger or somesuch). Or Miss O'Driscoll married Mr Nugent. -

Google maps says this Streetview shows Ballydurn Creamery, which a HAGS says closed in the 1960s, and was a satellite of Kilmeaden. The building does not appear on the 1930s Cassini map.
