James Mark Sullivan (1873-19201935), cousin of Tammany Hall's Tim Sullivan, was an Irish-born, Yale-educated lawyer and an American diplomat (briefly the minister to Santo Domingo) who (after leaving the State Department's employ) was arrested in Dublin in 1916 for aiding the Irish rebellion. I started a Wikipedia entry for him: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Mark_Sullivan He died in 1935, not in 1920 as listed above. The State Department lists 1933, but his obit appears in 1935.
