    Amazing picture. With the exposure times that were necessary in those days, how was this done? I suspect that in practice the swing was hanging straight down, vertical, and that the dress and her scarf were arranged in clever ways, in order to give this impression of movement. And that the background also was turned, accordingly. Extremely clever, extremely creative, and well thought out. Anybody that knows the details, and can confirm my theory? Alternatively, I realize I do not know all technical details about 1890 - photography, and did the technology at that time make possible action shots like this one? Brgds IH
