Hey guys, not sure if anyone checks the comments on Flickr but just a heads up that the handle link in the description of this image currently links to "Aviatrix Lores Bonney boarding her Gypsy Moth at Charleville, ca. 1933"

The TC Beirne Department Store was constructed for Thomas Charles Beirne in 1902 to the design of Robin Dods. Extensions were made through to 1938 to the designs of Dods and Hennessey & Hennessey. It has been added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 12 December 2003. (Source: Wikipedia). The store specialised in fabrics from the 1900s - 1930s. Still located at 28 Duncan Street, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, Queensland. The photo of the models appears to have been taken in the 1950s?

A quiet wedding was celebrated at 11 o'clock on Tuesday, 26th instant, between Miss Julia Drynan, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Drynan, Telemon Crossing, and Mr. John W. Smith, Christmas Creek. The ceremony took place at the residence of. the bride's parents, the Rev. Father Enwright officiating. The bride was given away by her father, and was attired in a lovely gray costume, ornamented with liberty silk trimmings. An elaborately-embroidered bridal veil and a wreath completed the costume. The bride carried a bouquet of beautiful white flowers and maidenhair ferns. Miss H. Drynan, bridesmaid, wore a handsome pink costume with salmon-coloured trimmings. The bridegroom was attended by his cousin, Mr. M. F. Smith, as best man. The bride was the recipient of many useful and valuable presents. At the conclusion of the ceremony the happy pair and a large circle of relations sat down to the wedding dejeuner, where the usual felicitous toasts were proposed and honoured. Mr. and Mrs. J. W.
