Anybody see Robert Mitchum in the crowd? lol They filmed "Michael Collins" and "Angela's Ashes" here, but those are much later than the 60's.

It might be a TV ad, although obviously not for RTE. Or it could be a newsreel...

I use to know once the train hit Westland row from Bray we were at the end of the line for getting off in Tara Street :(

I'd say there was many a good story told in that group? That looks like a big spanner - the one in his hand not the man himself!!!! If he turns too quickly the man on the left will let him know what he thinks of him when he gets his breath back (if ever)!

Joefuz, it has been for many years. At one time it was a national hub with the Royal Canal having a spur and basin nearby. Barges, buses and trains all operating from there and so close to the city centre must have made it a hive of activity. There was a repair depot attached to the station and accessible up further towards Phibsborough.
