    The location is 'Gibraltar Rock', on Lady Carrington Drive at the Royal National Park, south of Sydney...I'd say this might have been a popular 'picturesque' location for late 19th and earlier 20th century photographers... trove.nla.gov.au/work/235945730 - this SLNSW pic is a good match...the SLNSW pic is taken from further up the road...looks like a vaguely similar date... trove.nla.gov.au/work/189968597 - this NLA Fairfax pic is from a different angle...and ? from a later date...but there are still a couple of match-ups if you look closely. trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/164910000 - Sydney Mail, 13th July, 1904...there's a pic here which shows a reverse view, looking down the incline...see pic on 1st page of link titled 'A Bit of the Lady Carrington Drive' (bottom rhs)... goo.gl/maps/D9QR19kqXZ2GfeuS6 - Google's version...
