beachcomber australia Thanks BC! I thought 1910 too. The Ryrie's were an interesting bunch! I sure hope more images from Micalago come to light in the Hall collection. In Hall's livestock images I notice he seems to white out the background a lot, I am thinking now that he must have done that in order to have somewhere clear to present the animal's information. Check out this bio of Alexender's son - Boer War, WW1, politician, jackeroo and owner of the infamous 'Plain Bill': adb.anu.edu.au/biography/ryrie-sir-granville-de-laune-8319
