    Gee! This brings back memories. I was born in Hurstville, and grew up at South Hurstville. I remember seeing the movie The Greatest Show on Earth, with James Stewart & Charlton Heston at The Savoy Theatre, located at the top right hand corner of the photo. Also saw Rock around the Clock there as well. I remember catching the Kyle Bay & Connells Point buses from the other side of the paling fence, located above the train in the photo. The Hurstville RSL can be seen at the top left hand side of the photo.
