Wat je hier ziet gedemonstreerd is een combinatie van een langzaamwasser en een centrifuge in een apparaat. Het apparaat moest gevuld worden met heet water uit de kraan door middel van een slang. Een emmer kon natuurlijk ook. Het apparaat bezat geen pomp, zodat je het water met een slang in een emmer moest laten lopen. Een tante bij wie ik vaak ging logeren had zo'n wasmachine. Geheel rechts op de foto zie je al een 'wasautomaat'.

I am befuddled as to which intersection this is? If St Phillips Church is seen in the reverse view background, it can't be Kent and Market Streets (as suggested on the SLNSW version). H e l p !
