The Wyoming was the flagship of the Fleet, under the command of Admiral Frank F. Fletcher. Here, Acting Mayor George McAneny, his secretary Theodore Rousseau, and Docks Commissioner R.A.C. Smith leave the police boat Patrol to welcome the Admiral on the morning of May 8, 1915.

George McAneny was president of the NYC Board of Alderman and Acting Mayor during the Atlantic Fleet and Naval Review activities in May, 1915. This was probably taken aboard the Wyoming.
