There's some useful photographs of Daceyville at State Records NSW on Flickr here: www.flickr.com/photos/state-records-nsw/sets/721576217759...

They are the shops at the Gardeners Rd roundabout number 369 Anzac Pde (formerly Randwick Rd). Note the elbow in the road is actually caused by the crease in the photo, it's mostly straight. To the left is the intersection with Gardeners Rd turning right and Bunnerong Rd continuing straight ahead. Anzac Pde actually veers left out of view. The small building at left centre still stands in the park on Bunnerong Rd.

There's that tramway again. It must have been difficult to move heavy building materials over sand.

Presumably the hopper wagons were pushed by hand. It must have been difficult to build roads suitable for heavy carts on such sandy ground.

Probably hauled by horses. A small petrol locomotive may have been tried out in 1920.
