I would have expected a Breviary but that is indeed one of those dreaded camera thingys! The priest on the other wing has a sister on either side and the resemblance is remarkable, there is a great sense of love and pride between them as they snuggle in together, really lovely to see.

The groom looks slightly worried, the bride looks self-assured.

It could be a camera, hard to tell, could also be a case for holding religious pieces such as holy water, oils etc? Though the "buckle" at the right does look like it could wind on something like film.

NOW, **huge** "leap of faith" here on the priest... if it is a camera could it be Fr Francis Browne? If I was forced to say yes or no based on what I have right now I'd say no but maybe there are other photos or evidence that may prove it one way or the other. The only photos I can find of him he is much older or younger but it's not impossible that it is him. In 1922 he would have been 42. Most of the people here will have seen Fr Brownes photos from the Titanic.

Doyle & Dillon's prices on Tuesday 19 November 1907 as advertised in the Evening News (Waterford) I wonder why it says no. 79?
Their advert in the Waterford Star - Saturday 16 November 1907 says 76, as does the one in the Waterford Standard.
Monday's Evening News says 79, but by the 21st it says 76.

I wonder if the Evening Post typesetter was told to buck his ideas up or else.

I assume the figure in the doorway is either Doyle or Dillon, wondering why all their potential customers are passing their shop and looking for watches 3 doors down.

In the 1911 census, between the Bank and the Church we had: Bridget Dollard ( a restaurant) , Richard Moloney, a Grocer and Provision Dealer.

In the archive, there are Poole photo's of Mrs. Dollard's house having work done in May/June 1911.
