The woman on this photo is not Mrs. Rutherford Stuyvesant, it's May Palmer Depew, the wife of Chauncey M. Depew (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chauncey_Depew).

As I searched for photos of Mrs. Rutherford Stuyvesant in the newspapers, I found one (in The Salt Lake tribune., July 20, 1913, Second News Section, Image 13), but it has not much similarity, but another photo on the same page has: this of Mrs. Depew, with the same hair jewelry. The same photos are in The Washington herald., July 20, 1913, Page 5.

Other photos of May Palmer Depew, e.g. in The San Francisco call., March 16, 1902, Image 3 prove that not the newspapers mixed up the photos, but the Bain agency.

I presume that this photo was taken long before 1915. There are other Bain photos of Mrs. Depew which had been taken later, p.e.

NYT of August 30, 1920 query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=F30913F63455157A9... announces the wedding of the former Mrs. Hugo Reisinger (a widow since 1914) to Charles E. Greenhough. She was the Edmee, daughter of Adolphus Busch, the brewer.

The date, both in reverse and on the sticker, would support the January, 1916, event captioned by artolog. The Bain caption on the negative also supports the spelling of Greenough. The photograph is by Aimé Dupont (Etta Greer Dupont), the "Photographer for Smart Society", New York. [1]
