    If there is no known restrictions on publication, then why can't I send this photo to my printer. Nice picture though. I have never been to this place, though wouldn't it be neat to have a time machine and go for a walk around with shorts and a t-shirt, earphones and an mp3 player, modern sneakers on. The extremely overdressed people of 1910 would probably call for a police officer to arrest the near naked person wearing one layer of clothing (bare arms and legs!) instead of a monstrous dress and breath taking corset, or a t-shirt, dress shirt, vest, suit coat and top hat that the ultra uptight people of 100 years ago wore to hide themselves...how did the human race not grind to a halt with people so uptight about bare anything? I'd love to know how such prudish behavior became the normal way to dress. Just the same, I'm glad we don't dress in four layers of hot dark colored wool clothing as summer day acceptable attire...

Luna Park Fire 1911 (LOC)

    Photo is dated 12/11/11 in the title. Note the letters "NT" on the building. This should be the Alhabrama Alhambra Restaurant. Fire took place on the afternoon of December 11, 1911. NY Times. Four alarm fire contained to the Alhabrama Alhambra restaurant just south of the park lake. Dreamland, across the street from Luna Park, had just been totally ruined by fire in May.

    Thanks roketpad! We'll add the additional information to the date in the source data and reload the description. Just to clarify, the spelling of the restaurant where the fire broke out was "Alhambra."
