    The Belfast News-letter is amazing!

A possible match from May 1st 1914. A Z-Elizabeth rather than S-Elisabeth, but remember Fraser/Frazer. Shes in New York and sounds like the sort of person who would belong in the Sheehy-Skeffington circle of acquaintances.Belfast News-Letter - Friday 01 May 1914

Mrs Sheehy-Skeffington was in the USA in early 1917. The news of her safe arrival in New York City was announced in the Irish Citizen on Jan 6th. The Irish Citizen carried regular news of her visit, and she also wrote pieces as "H.S.S."
  • John Spooner said:
They (H.S.S. and her 7-year-old son Owen) were still in America as reported in the Irish Citizen on 3rd March. A speech made at Carnegie Hall gets mentioned quite a lot.
