I love this photo

Any idea what street this is?

This is the same storefronts from a few photos back, but it must be a later date: the store on the right looks closed, and the hanging sign is missing from outside the laundry store.

I like the stances they each have. It has a lot to say.

Interesting engagement. See the largest size; the boys appear to have been discussing their next football play or deciding whether to keep playing or not. Was it autumn? Long shadows...any ideas on time of day?

Seems more likely to be a row house than a school.

Title: Pride of Our Fathers

Given the Blue Star Mothers flag in the window (see previous photo's comments), I'd say it's almost certainly a row house.

On the other hand, wouldn't a 'Sector Post' for an Air Raid Warden more likely be in a public building, such as an unused room in a school? Or would is simply be in the Warden's home?
