    beachcomber australia Rectors and curates, more likely. Heaslips generally are COI. There was a Jack Heaslip who was the curate in Malahide for a while, but he'd have been a generation later than this. Coincidentally, he was followed by a Mr Long (I can't remember his christian name). Edit: Kingsley Long - that was his name.

    Narrowing the date very slightly, familysearch.org shows Jack John Heaslip marrying Eilis Long in the 4th quarter of 1952 in Thomastown registration district.
