I am befuddled as to which intersection this is? If St Phillips Church is seen in the reverse view background, it can't be Kent and Market Streets (as suggested on the SLNSW version). H e l p !

For years this aircraft provided scheduled flights between Imperial, CA and San Diego. This plane was taken by me (I. E. Quastler) at San Diego, when it was still possible to get onto the ramp and sneak in such a shot.

In the early 1970's, flights from El Centro to San Diego were almost always on time. At the time I was attending College and had an early Tennis class. The tennis courts were near the approach path. Arriving around 6:45 am from El Centro, you could set your watch by them!
