The children look just beautiful. Such open, honest looking faces and the young man has his chest stuck out like a soldier. I hope they all had good lives?

My nephew Paul, who was born in Dunmore East, says there are still lots of Flynns in Leperstown!

Mom Wonder if any of those Flynns would be able to identify these Flynns...

I was thinking as much when I saw it but was waiting for the Lemur to identify it. He'll be mad when he wakes up!

A very glum looking bunch!.

I'm more inclined to Aboraphobia's way of thinking rather than Philips. In other words to look at this photo as a snapshot of a time, a place and the people. The young lad with the cap is wearing leather leggings and given his clothing he is almost certainly the man of the house out earning his wage. Is that a Pioneer pin in his lapel? The family were typical of that time with children like steps-of stairs. They all look well cared for and when you look at the dresses, Mrs. Cullinane God bless her, probably had a sewing machine and made clothes for the girls and herself! The brick frontage to the house probably means that there is some connection to a railroad, a council, the Army or some other institution. I'll have to look up the site the next time I am down in Dunmore.

There's still Cullinanes in that area too.
