Excuse me for butting in like this, but I’ve been amusing myself recently converting some stereo-pair photos from this stream to anaglyphs. You’ll need a pair of red-blue glasses to get the full 3D effect the photographer intended, but these can be had for less than the price of a (cheap) cup of coffee. I’ve converted four so far: Ross Castle (including stove-pipe hat) SS Adolphine Blackwater, featuring Mr Muttonchops and best of all, Doon Well and the woman with scary eyes

Thanks Niall McAuley - I had the same thought. It even made me question whether this was correctly labelled - but the gates and corner angle does seem to match. The baths (and building beyond) do look very ornate, so it's intriguing that only the lowly gate posts were "saved"...

The image in the Archiseek entry doesn't seem to match fully. Although, given that it gives a demolition date of 1970, what we may see here is the last vestiges (the other elements perhaps demolished before Mr Walker captured this shot...) That archiseek page says closed in 1900 (hence, not marked on the 25" map), demolished in 1970.
