  I was just kidding about the drink though you can be sure it happened, if caught instant dismissal! These guys were so used to things and had plates on the critical ones to tell them what was what and where they went. I remember wathcing some of them in action and they looking like conductors of orchestra's they were so good at their work.

  If you were seated on the other side of the desk, where the empty chair is, then the Blotter and Ledger would be on the correct side. What is the significance of the large key. There is an old map of Ireland on the wall and a telephone. When was telephone service introduced to Ireland? Very interesting pencil holder. So this could have been an accountant's office or a bank?
