  Jeannette Gourd and Helen Hoadley were both bridesmaids at the 1921 wedding of Mary Sloan Colt and Louis Curtis Jr., at Garrison NY. Helen A. Hoadley and "Jeanne" Gourd were also both bridesmaids at the wedding of Henry Calhoun Taylor and Jeannette Jennings, in 1917. Think these are the same girls: Helen A. Hoadley (b. 1897), daughter of Mary Eliot Betts (1871-1948) and Russell H. Hoadley Jr. (1872-1942), sister of Sheldon Eliot Hoadley (1894-1918, died in WWI), and Louise Russell Hoadley James. Her grandfather was Frederic H. Betts. Her photo is here associated with an amateur play in 1916: chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn83030431/1916-12-14/ed-... Jeannette Gourd was the daughter of Henry Eugene Gourd (President of the French Chamber of Commerce in New York) and Emilie Noel Gourd; her older sisters were Helene (Mrs. Hoguet), Renee (Mrs. de Milhau), Yvonne, and Gabrielle.
