This is obviously the Polo Grounds in Manhattan, so I was wondering why the Giants' pitcher Jesse Barnes was wearing the Giants' road uniform. That year, both teams played home games at the Polo Grounds. For the 1922 series, they played all the games at the Polo Grounds and the teams took turns being the home team. This was obviously Game 2, on October 5, 1922, when Barnes and Shockey were the starting pitchers. They each pitched 10 innings, and a now- famous tie was declared when the game was called for lack of light. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1922_World_Series
