Looks like it says "Lindabury," and the picture is almost certainly related to this article: query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=9403E3DE173FE633A... All four of these men are named in the article as important players in a lawsuit to break up U.S. Steel.

Richard Vliet Lindabury (1850-1925), was the chief counsel for the steel corporation Henry P. Brown, the special examiner Colton J. M. Dickinson, the US prosecuting attorney "Hearings in the Government's suit for the dissolution of the United States Steel Corporation were begun yesterday before Henry T. Date written on negative is 10/19/12. NYT of October 20, 1912 query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=980CE4D6113AE633A... reported that Carnegie had arrived back from his summer holiday in Scotland on the White Star Liner, the Baltic.

The fact that Carnegie doesn't look like one of the richest people in the world is why he was able to become so rich. He focused on his work, not on his social standing. He concentrated on constantly having an advantage over all of the competition.
