Is it me or are the two lads really enjoying the excursion? They have great expressions, Mr. Currivan in particular looks very excited by being there, (plus a very contented engine driver).

Class O-60 No.62 locomotive

Museums of History NSW - State Archives Collection The NSW (O) 60-class entered service between October 1874 and January 1875. Built in England by Stephenson's and erected locally by Mort and Company, Sydney. No 62 entered service in December 1874 and was withdrawn in 1889 having travelled 593,521 miles in the service of the state. The locomotive was sold in April 1897 to the Newcastle Sand Company.
