Bernard Healy Again, spot on. There are other photos in the set from Thurles area. If you're a Tipperary man, do you recognise the ruined "grand house". (Clark family were burned out during war of independence or civil war according to the notes).

I'm not a Tipperary man, but I do have cousins in Thurles. I managed to pin this photo down to Thurles by searching the 1901 Irish Census for drapers called 'Molony' (spelled without an 'e') and when I saw that one of them was in Thurles, it all clicked.
