  A barquentine or schooner barque (alternatively "barkentine" or "schooner bark") is a sailing vessel with three or more masts; with a square rigged foremast and fore-and-aft rigged main, mizzen and any other masts. The term "barquentine" is seventeenth century in origin, formed from "barque" in imitation of "brigantine", a two-masted vessel square-rigged only on the forward mast, and apparently formed from the word brig.   May as well have the streetview: www.google.ie/maps/@51.809513,-8.280779,3a,75y,74.26h,89.... I think it's camden fort rather than carlisle fort but maybe the view is symmetric

  Interestingly, it seems to have been a secret installation (just like the phoenix park magazine) in 1911: maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,580903,561870,7,7 maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,580903,561870,7,9 (Maybe forts are jsut considered a bit gauche so they left them out)

  It's definitely taken from Camden fort. The wall in the far fort coming down at a 30 degree angle is here www.google.ie/maps/@51.8156227,-8.2619687,663m/data=!3m1!1e3 in Carlisle fort. There's no comparable structure looking the other way.
