This is a man that all Hoosiers know.

The Hoosier Poet James Whitcomb Riley (1849-1916), -- wealthy, wildly popular, alcoholic -- had suffered a stroke in 1910, and in 1913 began using a cane as he learned to walk again. According to a caption in Riley's Wikipedia biography, this photograph was taken at a "Riley Day" celebration in Cincinnati, in November, 1913. Riley's train passed through Cincinnati every year, on the way from his summer home in Greenfield, Indiana, to winter quarters in Florida. Andy Brill Yes, In the 60's Main Roads were buying all those shops to widen and straighten King George's Road.

The car opposite is a somewhat uncommon Riley, a Kestrel I think. Very sought after now.
