    This must be the Princeton Airport which is still on Rt 206 about four miles north of town. I myself learned to fly at this airport, although it was a summer adventure of ten lessons leading to solo. I didn't continue it after that (busy with school). My dad, a private pilot of many years standing, was anxious for me to do it. A fun and rewarding challenge! In my day, 1957, it was still a grass landing strip. I learned in the Princeton University's Aeronca, an antique by then, but not quite a Jenny!

The college men training to become aviators are here shown assembling a motor for an airplane. The aviators have to be expert in motor construction. Frank Stanton, flying instructor of Princeton, who is teaching the art of flying to Princeton men. Mascot...Prince, the police dog, amusing students between, flight and Spark Plug, the cat mascot, an interested onlooker.
