    That Locklear is a big-boned handsome fellow! My dad was flying at this time, also in a Curtiss Jenny. He was handsome, too!! Don't have any pix of him like this, tho'. :-( In his later years my dad belonged to a group of early-day flyers called the "OX5" club.!

    I grew up across the street from where the Bustleton Airfield was in Northeast Philly. Not a sign or thought of the first Airmail service taking off from there at all.
