Just looking at the state of construction of the Harbour Bridge at Dawes Point, the year has to be 1928...my guess is they might be attaching the stubs of the lower chord to the end bearings...which took place prior to the erection of the end posts... trove.nla.gov.au/work/185554859 - this NLA Fairfax pic looks to have been taken at a later stage of construction...it shows the SW end post at Dawes Point being positioned...in ca. late October/early November 1928... trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/158404067 - Sydney Mail, 14th November, 1928...see pic bottom rhs...this pic shows how things looked in early/mid November 1928...again, it's later than the SLNSW Milton Kent pic... ? slightly later www.flickr.com/photos/statelibraryofnsw/44724952382/

Here we see the Italian liner MV Viminale passing under the Harbour Bridge during the procession of ships which took place after the official opening ceremony on 19th March, 1932... Millers Point? Dawes, I'd say! Alas poor Princes Street ...

Just looking at the state of construction of the Harbour Bridge at Dawes Point, the year has to be 1928...they appear to have started the erection of the steelwork for the arch...my guess is they're attaching the stubs of the lower chord to the end bearings...which took place prior to the erection of the end posts...the SW end post at Dawes Point was positioned in late October/early November 1928...but I don't think they're there yet... ?slightly earlier www.flickr.com/photos/statelibraryofnsw/29837740587/
