    Just looking at the state of construction of the Harbour Bridge at Dawes Point, the year has to be 1928...my guess is they might be attaching the stubs of the lower chord to the end bearings...which took place prior to the erection of the end posts... trove.nla.gov.au/work/185554859 - this NLA Fairfax pic looks to have been taken at a later stage of construction...it shows the SW end post at Dawes Point being positioned...in ca. late October/early November 1928... trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/158404067 - Sydney Mail, 14th November, 1928...see pic bottom rhs...this pic shows how things looked in early/mid November 1928...again, it's later than the SLNSW Milton Kent pic... ? slightly later www.flickr.com/photos/statelibraryofnsw/44724952382/
