    I believe my grandfather Owen Hughes born 1902 and my great uncle Felix Hughes born 1901 were at Pembrooke Industrial School after 1902. There fathers name was John Hughes and mother name was Mary Hughes née Barkey. According to 1901 census they were living in County Monaghan in Killyneil. My grandfather was not yet born but there was another great uncle born 1900 and his name was James Hughes. 1911 census only shows their Grandparents home at address I have mentioned. Any information would be much appreciated. My grandfather Owen Hughes sometimes known by Jack and his brother Felix (Frank) I knew him as Uncle Frank both made it out of Pembrooke Industrial School, Owen arrived by ship in Australia and worked on a sugar plantation in Townsville where he married my grandmother Maria Hughes formally Nicholson, parents Joseph and Anna Frances nee Chaney ( also arrived by ship from Dublin.) Married 9th November 1938 at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Townsville. They end up settling in Wellington New Zealand and had 4 children Anne,Patricia,Vincent and Terry who are all alive, my grandfather past away in the early 1980s in Rotorua, New Zealand and my Grandmother past away in the early 1990s at Raumati South,NorthIsland,New Zealand. Felix Hughes worked on the International Linars as awaiter, often docking in Wellington New Zealand,. Eventually he settled in Foxton New Zealand. I don’t think he ever married and past on years before my grandfather. If this information helps some other descendants of my family that will make me very happy.     Walked/bused that route everyday for 5 years. (Office off Baggot St. Living northside). Bus stop still in same place. (Handy for junction with Pembroke St). 24 Baggot Street was (is?) a "holistic medical" centre. I wonder if the chap pictured is on his way for a session in a flotation tank? (Shadow is interesting. Did one of the Wiltshires perhaps capture their own elbows protruding from the base of a signpost?)
