The visible frescoes were destroyed in the bombing of the Allied forces on August 31, 1945. The "sinopie" are now preserved in the museum which is located in Piazza dei Miracoli.

It is named after Baggotrath, the manor granted to Robert Bagod in the 13th century. Walked/bused that route everyday for 5 years. (Office off Baggot St. Living northside). Bus stop still in same place. (Handy for junction with Pembroke St). 24 Baggot Street was (is?) a "holistic medical" centre. I wonder if the chap pictured is on his way for a session in a flotation tank? (Shadow is interesting. Did one of the Wiltshires perhaps capture their own elbows protruding from the base of a signpost?)
