Marvellous - and to add to the architecture the once familiar street furniture of Dublin - a CIE 'circular' bus stop flap and a Stanton 6B concrete street lamp standard.

I wondered how Baggot Street got that name ... "Baggot Street (Irish: Sráid Bhagóid) is a street in Dublin, Ireland. Walked/bused that route everyday for 5 years. (Office off Baggot St. Living northside). Bus stop still in same place. (Handy for junction with Pembroke St). 24 Baggot Street was (is?) a "holistic medical" centre. I wonder if the chap pictured is on his way for a session in a flotation tank? (Shadow is interesting. Did one of the Wiltshires perhaps capture their own elbows protruding from the base of a signpost?)

According to IMDb both films were released in November 1971 in Ireland - The Last Valley on the 19th. So I presume we are sometime fairly soon around that date.

My first thought when I saw this image was another movie - The Italian Job! The minis in line together speeding through Rome! A lovely shot of Dublin in the 70's. I love the lady and the girl at the bus stop with the bags of shopping waiting to take them home on the bus!

And that's presumably the (now extended) Gresham Hotel to the left? I stayed there many times in the 1970s,
