As much as I like the bus, the street is what really caught my eye. I see trwo kinds of pavement here; brick and stone. Well, at least that's what I think it is. I'vs seen streets paved like that in France and Italy, and it is very different from the asphalt and concrete used here in the US. Can someone give me the scoop on paving in Europe?

This looks more like stones to me. Brick roads are also seen, but roads are usually asphalt or concrete nowadays, unless it is in a historic city center. Pavements are usually brick or brick slabs, that is easier to open and to repair (for cables, sewers etc).

The bus has a right hand drive half cab layout, like in the UK, but the doors are on the right side, like on the European continent, even Rome had some Fiat buses with a similar layout in this period (Italian heavy vehicles were right hand drive until the 60s, for buses, and until the 80s for goods vehicles.)
