    Paul - certainly the A! back then. I can remember jumping on & off the trolley buses down Northumberland St. when the conducter wasn't looking! Mind you - you could walk faster! I was 12...

    Ah I thought it was. I've seen photos of the trurbines for Blyth Power Station being hauled over The Tyne Bridge and up Northumberland Street. Amazing when you think about it (and why didn't they just float them there?) but could you imagine this still being the A? Naughty boy Peter!
