    What an incredible building. It looks like a film set, not an actual structure .

    This was the City Hall Post Office, originally between Broadway and Park Row in New York City. Its architect was A.B. Mullett. Built in 1878, it was maligned in its time as "Mullett's Monstrosity," and demolished in 1939. Roads and part of City Hall's park stand there today. The Municipal Building (which is still around) is shown under construction in the background.

    Mullett also designed the Old (Eisenhower) Executive Office Building in D.C., which looks very similar:
