Note the vehicular ferry, pre-dating the first "Spit Bridge". Note also the absence of all the now reclaimed land on the right of the sand spit, and that the main access is by Parriwi Road. The large number of street poles would indicate that the electric tram was in place, although I can't see one.

16 Foot Skiff on Middle Harbour with Clontarf Beach in the background. The building is the siphon for the Northern Suburbs Ocean Outfall Sewer (NSOOS) under Middle Harbour.

There's those tramway metal poles again. I think they were dark green and grey. They have that small finial on top. They weren't used a lot. I've seen pix of them at Watsons Bay and Bunnerong Road. There's still one outside Newtown railway station (2010).
